A sustainable tourism expert and the founder of Plastic Free Southeast Asia. I’ve earned a Masters in Tourism Management, which ignited my passion for sustainable tourism. After working for Stamford Hotels, the South Australian Tourism Commission and various DMOs through agency work, I realised that I needed to make a bigger impact, with sustainability at the core.
I’m a trained 'Climate Leader' and 'Blue Standard Consultant', and a trainer, facilitator and advisor for tourism businesses throughout Southeast Asia and Australia to bring their teams on the sustainability journey. PFSEA started in 2015 and supports businesses to review their operations, policies, change the mindsets of their team and establish goals and a roadmap to positive environmental change.

If you're still begging and pleading people to do the right thing, then yes, I guarantee you're going to learn plenty of new things to help you move past that stage and into the stage of positive commitment from your colleagues.
WHAT FORMAT IS THE COURSE DELIVERED IN?
It will be live videos and recordings via Google Meet, you don't need to have a Google account to join, documents and templates will be supplied via Google Drive.
I DON'T WORK IN SUSTAINABILITY YET, BUT I WANT TO, CAN I JOIN?
I love your enthusiasm! This course will be full of practical action that students will be encouraged to apply parts of their learning in their workplace while they're in the course to gain feedback and support. You'll be better suited to a short course we've got coming up later this year to support people wanting to move into sustainability roles.
I'M BRAND NEW, CAN I STILL JOIN?
If you're totally new in your role, then all the better! You can build up your techniques and really impress your company, straight out the gates.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE COURSE IF I'D STILL LIKE HELP?
We're working on a mentoring program as an add on to support you as you evolve in your sustainability career.

Ideally your manager/employer is on board with you doing this course and as the content is designed to directly benefit your job, we hope you'll be able to use your office hours. That said, the sessions will be recorded for you to access during the course duration.
